London Craft Week 2024

As we reflect on a successful London Craft Week 2024, we are filled with pride for the outstanding creativity and craftsmanship showcased across the capital. This year's event was a true testament to the vibrant artistic community that London harbours, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.

It was so lovely to see our showroom abuzz with activity, filled with both familiar faces and new friends, all united by a shared passion for craftsmanship.

In addition to hosting our own events, we had the pleasure of visiting friends and neighbours to explore the incredible range of events on across the Design District. The district felt alive, and truly highlighted the diverse talents within our community.

We were honoured to host not one, but three in-house events this year which brought together a delightful crowd. We began with a workshop from our resident artist for the week, Fiona Chivers, which focused on “Art, Nature and the Creation of Calm”. Fiona’s work captivated everyone who visited our showroom and a selection of her pieces remain on display in our showroom at present. Our Design Director, James, then hosted his talk “Masters of Making: The Perfect Room Layout” which covered everything we feel creates the perfect space, from furniture to flooring, and from function to flow. Finally, we were honoured to host guest speaker and author, James Otter, for a talk on “The Craft of Handmade Wooden Surfboards”. Listening to James talk about the magic of hand-crafting was inspiring and we loved finding the connection between the making of his wonderful boards and our furniture.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all attendees who joined us over the course of the week, your support and enthusiasm made this year's London Craft Week truly special. We hope you enjoyed the events as much as we did and we look forward to celebrating all things craft and creativity again next year!
